Brian Momerak, Accounting Manager
Brian joined Helfman Davis & Associates in January 2024. He has 6 years’ experience in public accounting in a wide range of tax and accounting issues, including partnerships and closely held companies in many industries.
Brian holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wyoming, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Colorado. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of CPAs.
Brian served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002 to 2014, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6). While in the Marines, he served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense specialist, as well as a Recruiter and Training Chief among other duties. Brian deployed overseas with Marine Air Group 29 in 2007 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and two sons Alex and Noah in the outdoors of Colorado, hiking, biking, swimming, and grilling.
Soojung Jung, Senior Accountant
Soojung joined the firm in December of 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Education degree in South Korea. She became an Enrolled Agent in 2018, and assists with preparing various tax returns and tax settlements.
In her free time, she enjoys creative crafts projects such as paper polyhedra.
Kerri Juelfs, Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Kerri joined the firm in September of 2007. She holds a degree in Secondary Business Education with a minor in accounting. She assists our business clients with all their bookkeeping and payroll needs. She also provides support in tax preparation during tax season.
When not at the office, Kerri and her husband, Nathan, are busy chasing their four daughters in their many sports and activities. As a family, they enjoy camping and spending as much time together as their busy schedule allows.
Michelle Chandler, Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Michelle joined the firm in October of 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Secondary Education. She assists our business clients with their bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
In her free time, she enjoys spending her time woodworking and practicing Taekwondo with her husband and son.
Amber Barker, Office Manager and Notary Public
Amber joined Helfman Davis & Associates in June 2014. In her role as office manager, she supports our clients by answering questions and fulfilling requests. She became a certified Notary Public in 2019 and is available to clients for notary signings.
In her free time, Amber enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and spending time with family.
Rachel D. Nicholson, Administrative Specialist
Rachel rejoined the firm in 2023, after her original employment between 2002 to 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. She brings over 17 years clerical experience to support office operations and assist with client inquiries.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Robert, and their three children.
